I know it's about a week late but congratulations to George (gapan) on the 10 year anniversary of the first Salix OS release, version 13.0. After a summer of development and beta releases, the first official release of Salix 13.0 was September 14, 2009. viewtopic.php?f=23&t=98.
Thanks for all your hard work over these past 10 years.

This completely slipped my mind!
What a great milestone/accomplishment. Here's to 10 more years!

10 Years, wow times fly away!
I found the Salix OS at that time and have used it ever since.
I have tested a lot of Linux distributions under this period but never found another distribution that i liked.
Thanks for all the hard work to the Salix team.

Re: Congratulation on Salix OS 10 year Anniversary
Ten years. Amazing. The final version of Salix 13.0 was released at Sep 16 2009 and was exactly the same as the RC3 laprjns posted.
Time flies indeed. To be honest, I never thought we'd make it this far. It seemed so far away. I don't think that most of the "popular" distributions have been around for so long.
From the original team, only me and laprjns are still around. Others have joined and contributed significantly over the years. A great thanks goes to everyone that has been involved and supported this effort in any capacity!

Re: Congratulation on Salix OS 10 year Anniversary
Gosh, that's a long time in computer years. I think my first Salix installation was 13.1, and since then, I've never used anything else except in passing or for a laugh. I really don't know what I would do without it.
Here's to Salix 15.0 - when it's good and ready of course.
Many thanks to gapan and all who have contributed.
