No network after core install

Hi.

I can't make network after core install.
Configure by netconfig with DHCP, and ifconfig is outputting eth0 rightly.
But, result is timeout.

What do should I to solve this problem?

The LED on Lan port doesn't turn on and off with Ping.

You're not providing enough information for anyone to answer that question. Which exactly card do you have? Provide the output of lspci. Does it work with any other linux distribution? If so, which module is used? What is the output of ifconfig? Did you actually try to use a static ip as I suggested?

My machine is Aspire 3810T by Acer.

I tried by the following settings by netconfig.
Static IP:192.168.11.6
Gateway:192.168.11.1
Netmask:255.255.255.0
Nameserver:192.168.11.1
All the settings followed the page of the router.
The value that ifconfig outputs is equal to these.

I can use wire LAN on Mandriva Linux.
And on Salix, it works normally if it is wireless LAN.

I don't know what module worked rightly.

By a quick google search, it seems that your card needs the atl1e module. Check if you have that loaded with lsmod.

The output of lsmod didn't include atl1e.
But, nothing is changed after modprobe it.

I have quite the same network card (maybe not the same revision) on my personal computer. It works ok on Salix kernel.
