Another LILO splash

I took a simple and elegant lilo splash at I found at
http://www.kde-look.org, keramikwindow
(link), changed the palette a bit and added the Salix tree below the menu.
What do you think?

if 'vector graphics' isn't your piece of cake, how can I make the Salix tree 'glow' like in the site banner? Sorry if I'm not much of an artist...
