New to the forums... Kind of. I briefly used Salix during the 13.37 days (maybe about 5 or 6 months) before jumping head first into straight up Slackware. Pretty much have been there ever since, but one of my friends sold me a little, used Acer C720 Chromebook which I initially installed Arch Linux on it. With a little 16GB SSD I felt installing a minimal system like Arch would be a good idea. Long story short, I realized I prefer stability over bleeding edge rolling releases any day. I decided to install Salix because I remember this distro being a lot slimmer that regular Slackware upon initial install.
So far so good. You guys seem to have come a long way since 13.37. My memory may have failed me, but everything seems a bit more polished now
