Uhm, the dialog box is more the fact of started applications when you connect to your desktop. If you don't want to be bothered by it, it depends of your running desktop. For Xfce, it's in the Xfce configuration tool. rc.wicd is for the wicd service which is the background process to connect you to ...

This isn't a problem in the sense that I solved it by installing the library - but shouldn't it be picked up as a dep? Yes, you're right, it will be fixed, thank you.
