Re: slacky.eu repository

Apparently it's safe. Just don't expect things to actually install.

Re: glibc-solibs

Yes, I believe it's off of slacky.eu.

I've attempted to install gnome-do and songbird with --ignore-dep. Gnome-do starts, but if I click "preferences", it disappears. And Songbird doesn't even start.

I have to agree with the aforementioned reasoning overall. But really, what group of (mainly) guys doesn't spout off about their love of beer? It's a huge social aspect. I, for one, don't drink beer. If I do drink, it's something like whiskey or tequila. Also I work out hard and I run. So I don't fi...

Re: Atheros AR9285 Issue

Just random open networks in my neighborhood as a test. There's a dlink, a netgear, I think, stuff like that. Tomorrow I'm going to bring it to work and try to get on there.

[SOLVED] Atheros AR9285 Issue

My notebook has Atheros AR9285 PCI-Express wireless. It shows that the ath9k kernel driver is being used, as well as the ath9k kernel modules. wicd sees several wireless networks, but if I try to connect to an unprotected network, it fails, telling me it's unable to get an IP address. What am I doin...
